Our Major Donor
Backed by Great Things
Bronx Legends Boxing Academy is proudly supported by Giorgos Tsetis and Cerelina Proesl through Great Things, which turns investment wins into long-term support for communities like ours.
A Different Kind of Donor
Most organizations like ours survive on sporadic donations, a good year here, a lean year there. Great Things works differently. They invest in pioneering companies shaping the future across technology, AI, and health, by design, not as an afterthought. 20% of their net profits flow to their Impact Partners, which means our funding isn't a one-time gift. It's a sustainable, long-term commitment that lets us plan years ahead: keeping our doors open, our coaches paid, and our programs free for the kids who need them most.
As they put it: big wins become shared windfalls. When their portfolio succeeds, our community wins with it.
A Personal Commitment
For Giorgos and Cerelina, this is more than a line in a portfolio. Giorgos, the entrepreneur behind Nutrafol, acquired by Unilever, built Great Things around a simple conviction: no one succeeds alone. A city lifts you, opens its doors, gives you your shot, and when you win, you owe it to that city to open doors for the next generation. Together with Cerelina, he has made that belief the cornerstone of Great Things' mission: we are all interconnected, and real success means making sure everybody rises together. That's why they invest in our kids, believing boxing teaches what every young person deserves to learn: discipline, determination, self-confidence, and empathy.
What Their Support Makes Possible
Because of Great Things, every young person who walks through our doors trains in a world-class facility, at no cost to their family. Their backing funds our equipment, our coaching staff, and our after-school and weekend programs, proof of Giorgos and Cerelina's belief that caring is not charity. It's a responsibility.
